Lovely 17th Century pub in an idyllic location.

Six real ales on - including 2-3 from the nearby Uley Brewery. I went for the Uley Bitter and it was in fine fettle.

Lunch time baguettes were taken in the nice beer garden were world class.

A very decent pub this.

4 beers available including 2 from the local Uley Brewery which were in good condition. Called in near food closing time at lunchtime but the friendly staff prepared excellent ham bagettes. Interior is a bit plain but outside views are excellent.

really decent pub. almost perfect for a sunny day sitting out front soaking up the village, or out back soaking up the view of the hills. food portions a very generous and service was with a smile.great experience.

Visited the Old Crown again last night, and once again found it to be quite unfriendly. The staff barely acknowleged us and the Landlord is never present. The food is second to none, especially the pies, but when I asked for the sticky table to be wiped, I felt as though I was being a nuisance!

As a CAMRA member, the Uley bitter, which is one of the best beers in the county, was pulled by a barmaid that had not got a clue - it was totally flat! If it had been straight from the barrel that is acceptable, but as it was from a hand pump it should have had a bit of a head on it. This spoilt the enjoyment of this excellent beer!

May pop in again when passing, but won't go out of our way to visit especially to get a cool reception again.

My local pub for ever. It's seen some changes over the years, but generally for the better. Pub grub is worth no Michelin stars, but it's good value and hearty. They serve a few delicious local beers, brewed in the village (watch out for Pig's Ear) and all the guest ales are worth a drink and well conditioned. A great garden with stunning views of the Cotswolds, and the walks around there are perfect. They even have a B&B, and the landlords are friendly and accommodating. The best thing about Uley, and the finest pub for miles around. Worth seeing, and worth going to see!
