| Old style pub in one of Huddersfield's less affluent suburbs. From the outdoor seating, you can watch the police patrol cars passing - 3 in 10 minutes when I was there. Has a handpump but no real ale. At least the pub is still open - nearby the Little John (Keldregate) is closed and shuttered since a fire, and The Badger (199 Bradley Road) is also closed, though advertising for tenants. oftenscore6 - 8 Nov 2006 13:28 |
