user reviews of the Beehive, Islington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

This pub has two separate bars with a good sized L-shaped main bar and a smaller public bar housing a pool table and a plasma screen which shows Sky. I spotted no real ale, but there is a standard draught selection alongside Amstel and I noticed an advertisement for a four pint tube, but I decided against enquiring further.

I wouldnt mind if I found myself in here again.

A no-frills estate pub, but I thought it was better than the average estate pub. Friendly service and I certainly felt comfortable inside it (whereas some London estate pubs leave one feeling very uncomfortable). No real ale that I could see, and a cheap and cheerful food menu.

I find this pub to be one among a few, i have visited it on sundays, and its like pubs used to be,free seafood on the counter and plenty of it,good service from polite staff, they serve a very good sunday roast at really good prices, around a fiver,no special beers , but a nice atmosphere.great smoking areas, and very clean toilets, does have a pool table but its out of the way of us drinkers, thier menu is varied from toasties to roasties, but be warned for some reason no food on saturdays
