Suave looking bar with mainly waiter service populated by the 'up their own arses' Hampstead set. One handpump (Pride) hidden behind a bottle of lime juice. beers priced to keep out the riff-raff though any self respecting riff-raff wouldn't want to go in to this den of pretentious shit-bags.

2.8 out of 10 when I have come to do my review..... really!

Large pub on the edge of parliament hill, with a fine beer garden of its own.

Aimed at diners.

I was impressed that the London Pride was "only" £3.60.

Nice pub - great decor - great location - decent pint.

Utterly awful. waited 10 minutes to be served but the staff just continued to serve the latest person to arrive at the bar. So walked out and went to the flask which was busier but got served within 30 seconds. One to avoid.

Transformed by focus group since my last visit a few years ago and now replete with trendy food menu (we didn't eat but the victuals did looks very good) and dire music, this nouveau riche hang out seems out of place in knowing Hampstead - Erno Goldfinger would have turned in his grave. We visited on a weekday afternoon in blazing sunshine and the outside areas are toothsome. I can well believe the comments of other reviewers that service falls apart of a weekend.

Have had several drinks in this pub over the past five years including this most recent Bank Holiday. On every occasion I have had to wait approximately ten minutes to be served at the bar - completely and utterly staggering inability to meet basic serving standards.
