| A very through other hotel bar with only GK ales on offer. Had a apint of Old Speckled Hen which was nothing to write home about. Plenty of staff on hand to attend to your needs but the it feels like you are drinking in a hotel lobby rather than a bar. | Haven't actually visited this pub but there have been some terrible stories on Trip Advisor about it. When visiting Uppingham (in July 2008) I was talking to a local builder who said that the previous owner had gone backrupt and that the Falcon was now under new management, with things improving all the time. So, pending an actual review by one of us who has been there, don't necessarily be put off by what you might have heard some months back. Give it another chance and do write in to let us all know!
