| Seems a bit harsh an overall score for this pub (4.2 at the time of review) - it is a lot better than that. A wide range of Welsh ales, rotating well over the two days that I popped in. | Nice pub. Has a little bit of everything. Good setting just under the Brecon canal. Well-geared to walkers and outdoors people. Friendly landlord and locals. Good range of ales. | pleasant enough pub, but not spectacular. reasonable ale choice, but the Wye Valley Butty Bach was too cold to be great tasting. Usual Pub food type-menu. Family friendly...so kids allowed. alehouses - 21 Feb 2008 08:40 |
