| A Chef & Brewer with Greene King IPA on tap so you know what to expect and avoid if you don't like muzak and middle of the road furnishings - but the location next to the Cam on a hot summer's day is pretty special and my sea bass with scallops over risotto was tasty. | Have been there a couple of times in July and found the beer variable - good quality Tydd Steam first, then IPA/ Bombadier suffering from the heat. Good idea to offer 3 1/3rds and nuts for 3.99 thought. Food is overpriced but steaks were good. Best in the summer. mtaylor40 - 29 Jul 2013 19:24 |
| Like the rest of its chain, Chef and Brewer, the pub offers a "package". It will never be a "local" but it isn't bad at what it does: drink and meals which are reasonable.
