Came in here about 2ish last Saturday and a dozen or so others were present.
The interior is OK and they have a pool table.
5 hand pulls but one was blank and one for cider.
The others were Witch Otter and something called Flack Mannor.
I went for a pint of the Buttcombe Bitter which was very nice and cost £3.00.

Visited after having discovered the Greyhound didn't appear to be open any more. Beer choice limited, Flowers Original drinkable, baguette OK.
This pub needs new carpet, new seating, and a new glass washing device.
Barmaid was quite pleasant and welcoming.

I recently visited the New Inn at Amesbury after a nice day to visit Stone Henge, and my god i wish i didn't. I ordered a pint of Spitfire and had to send it back it was just foul. The glass was dirty and the ale was just not as it should be. After taking it back i tried a pint of London Pride which the young barmaid insisted i pay for despite my pint bieng undrinkable she was quite rude but at least this pint was drinkable although still not as it should have been. The whole place was filthy and full of beer flies. You could not see the carpet through the filth on the floor. I asked if i could speak to the landord as was not happy paying for an undrinkable beer. When the landlord eventually arrived he came down from upstairs with his dog which bit me. A horrible end to what was otherwise a pleasent day. Avoid this pub like the plague.

This pub is extremely tired. It's about time someone replaced the carpet. Tried a pint of London Pride and had to send it back. The friendly barmaid replaced it with a pint of Shepard Neam Spitfire, that was passable.

Like an earlier comment said, this place use to be great, now its just a run down boozer lacking all the class that I know it has. 2/10

A very lively pub and absolutely crammed packed on a saturday night!! Late licence until 2am which was awesome and a fantastic DJ which also helps. Popped back in again on the sunday only to have one of the best home cooked roast dinners ever. Very friendly and inviting the bar staff were lovely and the landlord and landlady are lovely, friendly people. Maybe zahod should go back and try again you know what they say third time lucky!!!
