A local pub for local people. Okay in it's way but wasn't impressed with the Dartmoor Jail ale - mustn't travel well from the West Country.

Addlestones cider. Prices typical of the district. Nice garden.

Can't fault it, great food (French chef). Great selection of reasonably priced beers wines and cider. Fantastic, cosy village pub atmosphere. Nice, friendly, welcoming staff (as opposed to the previous tenants). Very clean, we'll run establishment and not before time. Quite frankly the best pub in the area, very glad to have become a regular once again.

The most amazing roast dinner, definitely worth a visit!!! I've heard the ribs are good, as well as the Cajun chicken, so I will be back there without hesitation to sample! Has a lovely family feel and everyone is friendly, polite and very welcoming.

Me and my wife have started to use this pub as our regular. The landlady and the staff are always friendly and welcoming and always go the extra mile to please everyone. Unlike other pubs nowadays which are cold and have no sense of familiarity, the plough is warm and cosy and has a real sense of community which you don't often get now.

The food is good quality and for a reasonable price as well! I would definitely recommend the Sunday Roast! The garden out back is well kept and great on a sunny day.

The pub is dog and children friendly which is great when we want to stop for a bite when walking our dog. Overall the new managment is just what that pub needed, Me and my wife have been walking past it for years until now and are glad for the change!
