| Update: As well as being under new management, the pub has a function room - FREE to hire along with Saturdays being Karaoke nights. There is also public lounge and games room. . . Accommodation is also available long or short term as well as for contractors (includes tea/coffee making in room) with up to 6 bedroom to choose from. . . | Last review sounds like it's a relative of the new management. However, it's nicely decorated, with a couple of sofas and a nice bar area. Cask ale is provided in the form of Ossett Yorkshire Blonde, at �1.90/pt and was good. | After being closed for the last couple of years, this pub has now gotten a new lease of life and is once again open to the public as from 13th July 2011. The pub has had a total refurbishment both downstairs for the general day to day use and upstairs for venues, parties, celebrations room hire. . You will find the management some of the most friendly and the atmosphere is one of the most welcoming you will find around for miles. . . This brand new takeover will bring friends old and new together once again and the prices are lower than the local clubs on a lot of products. CALL IN and enjoy time out.
