This pub appears to have been closed down by the police and/or council a couple of weeks ago due to noise and antisocial behaviour. It already looks very run down.

Called in here for my first time. It is like a cross between Ye Olde Man and Scythe and The Alma both in Bolton. The stout wasn't in good condition so I played it safe by supping Guinness. Rockers' pub that has live bands on by all accounts. The pool table has definitely seen better days. It is rough and ready but I thought it was okay.

I'll not be in any particular rush to visit Warrington anytime soon.

Back in here last Thursday - ales now £2 pint...but you'll struggle to find a decent one amongst the usually six offered - needs to up it's game on the real ales...

A rough and ready town pub that has pool table, live bands, quizzes etc. Brews were more mainstreamish and not memorable - to the point that I forgot what I had there.

spit and sawdust pub with sticky tables and a few ales...always feel as if we've disturbed the local crowd in there
