| Recent change of management (same as The White Lion up Cryers Hill) has made a big difference. After a false start with the food, it's all been sorted. The menu is not extensive but it's good pub grub and far from the microwaved rubbish you get in so many places. The Chicken Caesar Salad is a great example, the burgers are good too. Beer selection is reasonable, atmosphere is sorted after the previous era of muzac and no customers. Getting better and better.
