I visited this pub a few months ago after a 20 year gap (I use to like in Kingsbury Episcopi,.....yeah, another life!!) and am glad to say I found the beer to be very good and the welcome to be fantastic. The landlady, she'll be the blonde one then, was extremely friendly. Great pub. I'll be back. 9/10 from me. wolvesfan - 12 Jun 2012 20:24
A very nice pub with a good selection of ales and ciders on offer; those tasted were very good. A great asset for the village and worth going to if you live there, but hardly worth taking any detour just to visit the pub cellarbuoy - 31 May 2012 17:25
After a few fortunately short-lived problems, this pub is back to its best! Good beer, good food, good company and a lovely fire to warm the cockles! Altogether a good experience! beerpilgrim - 6 Feb 2012 21:12
Ale kept well, and a lovely real fire. martins2 - 22 Nov 2010 16:15
In on Sunday for charity fun day. Wasn't as good as last year didn't have as many stalls set up in the garden. Had Wickwar Bob and Cottage King Arthur which were both average. Didn't try food as there was a dodgy looking roast pork / burger van in the car park. brewguru - 31 May 2010 19:38
