Reasonable enough pint of Landlord and friendly landlord who appeared to be quite new.

We were the only 2 in this large pub but went in because it looked so nice from the outside. As other reviewers have suggested, it would be a cracker to sit outside in summer.

ive spent a few quid in this pub in the past but they last had my money last year because on my visit this week i became the invisible man at the bar, after checking a group of youthes id i waited waited and was then ignored by the two bar staff, who served at least two people that walked in well after me..

Not a pub that would make you want to stay all night as it a bit souless. But to have a pint and sit outside on a sunny day it is fine. The ale was in good nick and staff were friendly.

Great pub in whitby which is nice to sit out and watch the world go by in the summer.

Visited again and had the same feeling, although the place was very popular, as it had a nice beer patio. The exterior has a mock stone frontage, with the top half being white rendered. The interior is a large open plan room

It served Theakstons XB and bitter, the XB was decent enough
