| Passing through again and stopped over for the B & B. Pleased to say all was well yet again. Both Mild and Bitter were in excellent condition, staff were very friendly and the menu was varied and good - the Green Thai Curry complemented the beer really well. | Very friendly host and staff serving Bathams Best and Mild which were both very well looked after. Great place to stop off on route to or from Holyhead for a pleasant drink and good pub food. You can't go wrong with the cheeseboard and a decent wine from a good selection for a pub. Three bars to choose from, public, games (with a quality juke box) and lounge with a separate dining area if required - then again if the weather is good the outside area has great views in a tranquil surrounding just off the A5, but you wouldn't know it! | Bathams owned pub! The only one outside the Midlands And its quality, call me sad but I drove here from Brum on a day out just for a pint (well was going to close by betsy) and Its a gorgeous pub in beatiful country surroundings, and best of all they have Bathams (the best beer ever) seaman_max - 14 Aug 2009 10:44 |
