| As a newcomer to this site was very surprised in the ignorance of some of the other reviews! As a regular visitor to the place I have seen the tiny cellar and understand that due to limited space and the nature of real ale (needing to settle) there isn't always three beers on but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell,I would suggest mildmutley stick to weatherspoons or Sam Smith's pubs! goodbeergirl - 24 Oct 2013 16:17 |
| Disappointing given its GBG report, but in keeping with reviews on here. Only two beers on; no wonder it was quiet for a weekend. The two they had on weren't particularly good and the landlord wasn't particularly friendly. There are much better pubs in Hull. djw - 5 Oct 2013 23:52 |
| Bar in a cellar serving unusual ales and ciders. had a nice enough pint of Aerosol. It is a good one ofr the cider heads as there seemed to be as many draught ciders as ales. anonymous - 24 Jun 2012 15:15 |
