Despite being quite late at night, I was expecting this Wetherspoon's to be much busier. With a nearby cocktail bar reportedly testing customers for the coronavirus, this wasn't a normal Saturday evening though. I had my choice of seating in here. Greene King Abbot, Ruddles Best & Sharp's Doom Bar were supplemented by Skinner's Betty Stogs, Porthleven & Lushington's, as well as Ringwood Boon Doggle. Ciders were Weston's Old Rosie, Gwynt y Ddraig Black Dragon & Cornwall Cider Company Apple Slayer. Nice to enjoy a quieter drink in a 'spoon' than normal.

Pretty awful spoons to be honest.

Always totally rammed with not many good seating areas.

Service was poor too and had only one guest ale on.

I swore we would never be back but on visiting the other rip off joints in Truro we did return with our tails between our legs....

As usual: this place was chock-a-block. service was ok, as staff was rushing of there feet. Why do I always visit this place when it's Curry Club?

Hard to believe, but excellent service in a Wetherspoons. Brilliant bar staff, excellent beer (Skinners Hunny Bunnty was amazing), and usual JDW food. Could not fault it.

Unlike the last reviewer, I found the service was good, for a Wetherspoons, but that still isn't saying much. Beer choice a little strange (seemed to be mostly from Scotland ... why ?) but food OK, and came when they said it would.
