he man who heckled me, racially and verbally abused me throughout, was not punished / banned because (as the staffs explained) he was 'the manager's friend'. For this appalling excuse of a business, I can only give one star for the horrible experience (26th February night). Hope everyone working at the place take a good hard look at themselves and realise any association without condemnation of such behaviour is nothing to be passive about. Still shocked at how I was advised to simply 'ignore' him throughout the night.

Beer was pretty decent (Spitfire) but at £3.90 a pint I would quit like a pint rather than 3/4 of a pint

The George has just been taken over by Shepherd Neame, the only good thing about that is it will remain a pub.

Not a bad little boozer for a Saturday pub crawl drink or two, but not one I'd rush back to! Lager selection good, but not so great for ale lovers...

During an imprompt pub crawl last Saturday afternoon in and around Soho, we stumbled across this small, one roomed corner pub and I regret to say that we were none too impressed! It's old woodwork and mirrors were neglected and dirty. The toilets were disgusting and in need of refurbishment. Whatever real ale that normally is available was off so we had to resort to lager, which was poor. It's a crying shame to be honest, this little boozer has so much potential and so much could be made of it in time but for now it's one to write off I'm sad to say!
