| I was pleasantly surprised when I popped in for a lunchtime pint today. Was expecting the usual GK ales and while there was one of theirs (an IPA), there was also Landlord and Everard's Tiger on offer. My pint of the latter was £3.70 and very drinkable. | On entering there is a restaurant to the right and bar to the left. Very much old beams with modern interior. At least there is a seperate bar for the locals unlike many food orientated establishments. Only GK ales on offer (IPA and Morlands OSH). Had the Old Speckled Hen which was quite good considering it was the first pint served. Staff were quite friendly which does make a difference. anonymous - 1 Apr 2010 19:22 |
