| The Blue Bell was our third stop on our Christmas Saturday visit to Byker and Jesmond. As usual, the best bars (the Brinkburn Street Brewery Bar & Kitchen and the Tyne Bank Tap Room) are not listed on the website. The Blue Bell enjoys a lovely location next to a river and a wooded park. The pub has a cosy interior and Premier League football was showing on the TV.
