| took my partner in this pub for her yearly night out with me (birthday) decided to give it a second chance as wasnt brilliant last time we eat out there. starter was ok but 2 steaks at �15 each left alot to be desired. very small portions and the new potatoes were microwaved! the excuse was we are not normally this busy on a tuesday night! only paid for half the food but wont be going back there for a third time! ninjaryder7 - 21 Sep 2009 15:57 |
| Roadside pub with reasonable meal prices providing the usual pub fare. It was worryingly empty for a lunchtime. Only one ale on when I went in - Old Speckled Hen, which was passed its best. OK for a quick stop, but too near other, better pubs to merit a whole evening. ETA - 12 Jun 2009 09:54 |
