Excellent pub. Four beers on at the time of my visit, Hop Back GFB, a Bowmans and a couple of unusual ones. Bit surprised at the mention of a lack of seating... it must have been busy... there are a myriad of different rooms in this rabbit warren of a pub, including a skittle alley plus an interior courtyard garden. A past South Hampshire pub of the year and I can understand why.

Just moved to the area although having worked in the area for years I have visited all but this one before. All the ales I tried were cracking. Lunch (pie) was one of the best I have had. Locals (farm workers by the sound of them) were a good bunch and added to the atmosphere. It is a bit limited in seating but its worth the effort. My local is the silver plough which is a great pub but it only serves Badger which isn't one of my favourites. The range here was much more to me taste and with a choice pof 4 I was not disappointed.

Thriving local with a good mix of village custom, although the downside is that there was no-where to sit or stand, and I do get irritated when locals stand at the bar and block you out. Plenty of space to enjoy the lovely evening though.

Excellent all-rounder with pretty good Hop Back and similar beers.

Really enjoyed my visit here for a weekday lunch recently. Good food and beer, and friendly staff all in a charming traditional little pub.

Turned up here quite by chance after visiting my sister in Farley. I love it! Great HopBack beers well kept and well served.
More of the same please!
The food looked great!
