Visited after midnight on Friday and have forgotten the choice of beers - I think the ale was Butty Bach. A pint of Aspall's was £4 so not cheap but a good bar overall.

Rather too smart given where it is although this is a destination pub kind of thing where people pay by card and rounds take a long time because there are so many different kinds of drink to be bought. Bar snacks include chunky chips which were good. The only ale is Mad Goose wihich is 3.75 a pint. How much? Where is this, central London? No, it's Birmingham, and Birmingham doesn't do posh, or it shouldn't. Not a bad pub though.

Smart venue and lively at weekends. Now has real aleas well as a variety of bottles so its worth a visit. Its not the cheapest of places but the beer and the staff are good so you do get what you pay for.

This is a smart wine bar that is part of a small chain of three bars, the others being The Queens Arms and Edmunds. The other two bars sell real ale, sadly this one doesnt. Come on guys, Im sure one handpump wouldnt go amiss. Its got high settles covered in leather in the main room and leather sofas and chairs in the room to the left. There was a decent atmosphere in here and as there was no cask I had a glass of the draught Leffe instead, which is a decent alternative. I quite liked it in here and the other half would love it.
