Slug & Lettuce. Bland bar with above average food prices and a limited selection if you don't like curry. Mostly keg lager. Has London Pride, but it had run out on our visit.

A bit like being in of those furniture showrooms that line the A406, but with soulless megabrand beers and wines. Oh yes, and freezing cold. Despite being the coldest night since february 2006, the aircon was on and according to the barman "Couldn't be turned off, innit - because of the thermostat". As places to drink go, this is as bland and predictable as an ice cube, and of course - that's the point.

Apparently Jodie Marsh sometimes drinks in here, so it could have been worse.

Oh my word, this place is simply shocking. I can't think of a single redeeming feature. The drink, the staff, the customers, the toilets...everything sucks. the fact that it is still open says more about the area than it does about the venue. No no no no no.

once saw teddy sherringham chatting up a dolly bird in here, but that could be any pub, any night of the week. if you're unfortunate, you'll see that m1nge in quite a few of the local hostelries, impressing 15 year old blondes with his 'personality'.

give it up man, your hairstyle's older than they are!
