This was the first of 3 pubs I visited in Staines on Thursday night. It was the only remaining pub in Staines that I hadn't been to that served real ale. But London Pride was the only ale. The pub is now Indian-owned and they appear to serve Indian meals. Locals provide the entertainment here. The sight of middle-aged women trying to do the splits in the centre of the bar was mildly amusing. Disappointing though. Moved onto the London Stone and the George which were far better.

Nice pub now under new ownership with a huge beer garden and a function room where they hold a comedy night once a month on a Thursday. They also have bands at weekends.

Not keen on thsi place at all. It looks more like a cofee shop and the service in my view is really bad, probably the worse I have experienced for a long time. Sorry but this one does not do it for me at all.

Really nice, comfortable, friendly pub. It's been done up to a high standard and has a reasonably priced menu with a good range of food on it (including several veggie things). A good place for a quiet drink - we've been back several times!
