Another lovely West Sussex pub at the end of lane. There are 3 small rooms, with a large outdoor area, some of it undercover. The bar serves 2 of the rooms. Adnams Bitter is the regular ale and it was accompanied by Hanlon's Stormstay on that side of the bar. On the other side was Downlands Thirteen Pale Ale, Leeds Samba, Long Man Long Blonde & Oakham Scarlet Macaw. The cider was Cheddar Valley. It was quiet on our visit. But, locals were friendly.

Friendly smallish pub tucked away behind Eastergate. Doing good things with the beer there are usually 5 or so real ales including Bowmans and Long Man beers. Beers well kept and very reasonably priced at £3.20. A local pub worth supporting (even for me now living 100 miles away) .

What a stunning little pub, hidden away down a small lane, a good range of local ales from small brewers and good food at reasonable prices, with a nice homely comfortable feel, a must if you're in the area

Went there on Saturday evening around 9.30, found 3 people in the pub. Ordered a wine for my wife and a Bitter for myself.
My Bitter had a small dead fly in it, I took the fly out and was amazed that the barmaid did not offer me a fresh pint.
No wonder the pub is empty on a Saturday night.
Appalling.
