| Although the interior decor is somewhat self-conscious, nevertheless a worthwhile and comfortably roomy pub serving some fine Long Man ales. And their Long Blonde may well be my beer of the Summer. | I like this place. It's a bit self conciously light and airy shabby-chic by the seaside, but done really well and gets away with it I think. Good beers and some cracking guest ciders last time I was there, nice chatty staff and a good place to pop into after blundering around the antiques barns. | Both food and rooms a bit on the pricey side. Very quiet and lots of character but only Harveys in real ale, the other two were blondes and not my sort of drink. Excellent breakfast though. ChrisL - 27 Jun 2012 18:56 |
