These reviews have been hijacked by staff, which is a real shame and totally ruins this site. Anyway, went in there on Saturday, beer was ok, not great, layout is fine, decor is half tasteful period style, half ikea shite. Going for dinner soon so we'll see how the food is but for now, they should be ashamed that they've been bumping up their own scores. shand83 - 26 Nov 2012 19:25

This pub ticks the right boxes. It's got a pleasant comfortable feel to it with quality food. The back garden is worth a visit for it's overhead awning making it dry and warm in the colder months. Clean, reasonably priced and great service off the table staff. Westendsocialite - 19 Nov 2011 23:28
The Oak & Pastor's a little gem of a pub with a great cosy beer garden and warm friendly inside and lovely fireplace. It serves a hearty gastro menu, some excellent wine and a good Guinness!! We just enjoyed a terrific Sunday Roast dinner and the staff made our visit relaxed and comfortable. Definitely one to return to soon. fancyatipple - 13 Nov 2011 19:39
