Visited late on Sunday evening but found it rather unwelcoming. A forgettable pint, without much condition (can't remember what it was). A few staff wandering around but the evening's mess was still everywhere. Must go back another time. We were staying locally and it was the first time we had been back there since 1975 when it was totally different in character - a proper local.

Had lunch here yesterday, food was fine and reasonably priced for pub grub. Specials seem a bit dear, 26 for a steak. Had a lovely pint of Twickenham's Naked Ladies, great to see Young's including local beers. Decor is fitting and service was top notch, will definately be back, hopefully to have a session and watch the rugby 8/10.

A good pub for several reasons. You can sit and drink beer at the front, eat informally along the side or more formally at the back. I've done all three and will do all three again. Cosy, welcoming and lively.

Wonderful atmosphere but the staff can be too intrusive interrupting your conversations and privacy by asking if you have finished your meal quite often and trying to take your glass away even when you have not finished yet.

Why is that necessary, it is a pub should be more easy.

It is over priced but still that is not as annoying as the service and the fact that the menu is quite limited.

Constant Irish music some evening in the week can be a bit too much.

Visited just after Christmas. I found it to be expensive, Pint of bitter, Large glass of Shiraz and a bowl of nuts, 12.10. Nice pub but too expensive.
