| This is a nice pub. It has a friendly atmostphere with a styish relaxing restaurant. The food is excellent and the chefs continuously replace the vegetables etc, even if there is food in the dishes. It is almost like they time how long the food has been standing. The meals are of good quality, especially the Steak and Ale pie. (a little too salty perhaps) however, the pastry melts in your mouth and the steak is lean and tender. The Sunday Carvery is well worth sitting down to with your family. I like the other options on their chalk board, it gives choice for the customer.
