Good Pub back in the day for a few Toots, GBH, Manslaughter etc.

The pub was nice enough and the staff friendly, but the food was a disappointment. I try not to leave bad reviews, but given the good ratings of this pub, maybe the experience was just because of the slow time of day. The burger, while tasty, was well overcooked and lukewarm, served on a still chilled bun. The pork belly was good though. Would try somewhere else next time.

There's now a weekly quiz at The Greyhound, running every Tuesday from around 7pm and usually finishing up before 10pm

Come along and test your knowledge, sample the food, have a few pints with your mates, your family and/or your colleagues all while showing off your impressive general knowledge, answering questions on categories like "The Simpsons", "London", "US state capitals", "Movies", "Soaps" and lots of others.

Entry is £1 per person with all entrance money going to charity and a £30 bar tab to the winning team. 5 rounds consisting of 1 picture round, 3 rounds of themed questions then a final music round where you get to showcase your extensive knowledge of hit music.

There's a friendly local crowd and it's a great way to spend an evening so come on down - next quiz is Tuesday January 21st 2014.
