| A visit last night (Friday) wasn't enjoyable. The place was crowded mostly with families eating. Kids were running about and the ale choice was poor. I had a pint of Doom Bar which was well kept but I couldn't wait to leave. The two bouncers amused me. They must be two of the ugliest on Merseyside. | A relatively new Wetherspoons which opened as part of the multi-million pound regeneration of New Brighton. I've only been in once and that was on a Saturday lunchtime. The place was crowded with noisy, chavvy families. The food was standard Wetherpoons stuff. Service was good and my pint well-kept. wirraldrinker - 25 Jan 2015 12:19 |
