| First stop on a Saturday afternoon stroll around Windsor was the Queen Charlotte, a backstreet pub that is one of a number in this area near the Castle and just off the main drag. There were just the 2 real ales on - Windsor & Eton Mandarin & Bingham's Xmas Cake. They also had Weston's Old Rosie cider on handpull. | Surprising GBG 2019 entry - looks like a gastro pub and from a chalk board offering Olives and Wasabi nuts to go with the beer, that would be a fair description. | Landlord is always drunk if he's ever there can often be heard snorting various things from the toilets. Have taken my wife here a few times so as to give it a fair crack but every weekend is the same. Bar staff are lovely, but the landlord would be better suited to a different career, possibly town drunkard or professional drug addict.
