| What a find! After completing the brummie ring (brummiering.weebly.com) we wanted somewhere to celebrate. This was found on the internet, but we didn't know what to expect. | A very nice public house. Nice location, nice interior, nice staff (when I was there) nice ales and nice ciders....it`s all so very nice..oh ok, some gnarly locals at the bar who don`t want to budge over and there was a wasp in the beer garden. Well worth a visit Blastbeat - 15 Jul 2013 14:47 |
| Splendid pub, especially in summer when one can sit outside. On the borders of the Birmingham conurbation and very convenient for junction 3 of the M42 if one wants to take a meal break on a longer journey. The food was OK, if a bit unadventurous, and the "transport-cafe style" restaurant was the least attractive part of the pub. The Weatheroak Hill beers are brewed here and aren't at all bad.
