A pleasant but identikit modernised North London pub in the Antic style, with the usual beers (OK but nothing special quality wise), with an interesting chicken spit roasty the only distinguishing feature. mtaylor40 - 13 May 2013 22:11
First visit to this corner pub which is almost opposite the railway station. Very pleasant interior in the modern "pub/kitchen" style (wood floors;old furniture; large windows;pastel colours and ecletic pictures;theatre kitchen and 4 handpumps (we enoyed the Standard Bitter from the new Cronx Brewery - which apparently is where Croydon meets The Bronx!!) They also had Redemption Trinity; Otter Ale and a beer/whisky brew from Brains. Our beers were £3.60 which I thought was fair considering the lager and speciality beers were touching £5.00 !! Excellent service and the food wasn't bad either. In fact we liked this pub so match we returned after the walk back from The Emirates (about 20/25minutes away). Friendly home fans. I would recommend this pub - worth missing a train for. mcroyal - 1 Apr 2013 22:30
Wonderful pub. Great atmosphere. Good beers (from small London brewers), and fresh food - about £9 main meals. Beers quickly changed. Good place. SilkTork - 12 Oct 2012 23:39
I went to this pub a month or so ago during the day. A pleasant looking place which I suppose given London prices now was not too bad. I had a pint of Guinness which went down a treat. Only stopped for one as we were off into town but would definately return Miker1234 - 30 Aug 2012 22:58
Very good pub - decent service, excellent beers, nice atmosphere. Always seem to find the days/times when its packed out, but won't complain. Planner_21 - 24 Apr 2012 14:01
