| The Eagles Hotel was the first stop on a Saturday lunchtime visit to Llanrwst. It's a fairly upmarket hotel, with a couple of large rooms for drinking. Dogs are welcome. It took a while to get served. But, there were a couple of ales from the Nant Brewery - Eryr Aur & Prop Hop. | The pooltable bar is well frequented by under-25s, especially at weekends, and can be noisy if you want to talk. There is also a non-residents' lounge bar through the main hotel lobby: this has good beer (Abbotts, Old Hen, others)which is very well kept. Bar food is ok rather than special.
