| I popped into Adnams' only tied house in London for the first time in at least five years. It feels more like a restaurant these days, with about five tables at the front fror drinkers and the rest all laid out with cutlery etc. It's smart and pleasant enough for what it is, but not really somewhere for a session, and not really my type of pub. Four Adnams ales were avaialable on handpump: Bitter, Broadside, Explorer and Seasider. My pint of Explorer was a bit mediocre, all the more so @£3.50 a pint. Delirious_Nomad - 30 Mar 2011 15:12 |
| Had more of a pubby atmosphere last night as it was quite full - people standing!! The family at the next table were tucking into superb looking fish and chips - they confirmed it was good. Shame I was eating elsewhere. Purity Mad Goose was an interesting guest. GrahamA - 15 Jan 2011 07:31 |
| Dire place, no atmosphere whatsoever and poorly kept pint of best that could have been any average lifeless brown beer. Great shame that a place like this is the only Adnam's pub in London. alebarry - 14 Aug 2010 12:48 |
| Found this to be a very nice bar (no...it isn't really a pub) doing the full range of Adnams beers. Prices are slightly high but it is in tourist area and you can't get more touristy than Tower Bridge after all! Good music at a reasonable level played on the Stereo when in. | wide selection of beers (adnams) and great location ... BUT ... it's not really a pub! more like a trendy eating house with drinking around the edges.bright, light and cavernous with no real atmosphere mozzzzzz - 10 Oct 2008 16:55 |
