| Irish-themed chain bar serving Doom Bar only on cask. It was busier than other pubs we tried on the St Albans Road. But, quite a few were in to watch the live football, which was showing on quite a few screens. Not one I'd particularly recommend. blue_scrumpy - 10 Feb 2019 11:24 |
| Friendly laid-back Irish pub. No irritating music but football was on discreetly. Only real ale was Doom Bar, but it was a bit metallic. You would come here for the relaxed atmosphere, not the beer. Number11 - 29 Mar 2015 00:34 |
| Lived just round the corner from this place for six years and went in for the first time last night as it has recently started serving real ale. For some reason they are selling the increasingly ubiquitous Doom Bar rather than any of the excellent local Hertfordshire beers that are available these days; it wasn't great. | Large, one-room pub showing plenty of live sport on TV. Beer selection isn't inspiring - faced with a choice of Smiths on tap, I went for a bottle of Newcastle Brown instead. Wine was pretty average too. | Was in here again Yesterday, great pub. Good staff,and customers that talk to each other. They even have there own resident Rock Star,although never leave him charge of your Sunflowers. Highly recommended tottenhamsean - 30 May 2009 16:45 |
