Recently moved to the area , having driven past this pub I thought I'd give it a crack , been in at various times of day and can't really fault it , bit pricey but does for a quick point romfordir - 17 Mar 2013 19:51
A real, high quality East End local. Beautiful, traditional interior combined with well kept beers. Friendly staff who are keen to make people at home mean that this is a diamond in the rough. Seems to have a nice mix of regulars, with trendy young things mixing with East End's finest. Definitely worth a look in! doddsy121 - 4 Feb 2013 12:02
Went in on a Saturday night. Good pint of Black Sheep, very well kept. Also had London Pride and Landlord on - didn't try those, but assume they were equally well kept. Would be good to see some more adventurous beers on. Also have a pool table, so thumbs up for that in my book! asas - 19 Aug 2012 13:29
Stopped in there last night with our Morris team. Cracking pub. Very good pint of Porter and the others ales looked on top form too. Will definitely go back when in the area. JackEntwhistle - 2 Mar 2012 11:54
I Came in Friday night with my mate, to watch Spurs vs Watford Game, and to my disappointment the TV was on mute and music on too loud. When I asked about volume for the game, I was told Music takes priority over sport. Seemed bit silly, why would you pay so much for Sky TV, and not be bothered to show it. We ended up leaving and watched game in the Coborn. Staff seemed to have an attitude problem, don’t bother putting big games on if not going to be shown with commentary. eastlondoner - 29 Jan 2012 22:20
