| We've just moved into the area and this is our new local, and we're pleasantly surprised by it. Went in last Saturday night for a few drinks and there was a great atmosphere. Theer was a 60th birthday party going on, a few people "ironically" watching the Eurovision song contest and loads of other people just having a drink. I'd imagine the language could get a bit fruity in the vault but the beauty of having two rooms is that it can cater for everyone. Bar staff were friendly and quick. Went in again on bank holiday Monday with my parents at lunchtime for a bar meal and the food was great and really good value. | July 2008. The Urmston is under recent new management and has reintroduced a wide range of food served from 12 til 9. The menu includes starters, mains, burgers, baguettes, wraps, desserts and there is a specials board and kids menu. There is a different Sunday menu which includes Sunday lunches.
