Visited 1pm 29/11/14.
Much improved since my last visit a couple of years ago. Nice pint of MPA. Proof that Lees can brew a decent pint when they try.

We've just moved into the area and this is our new local, and we're pleasantly surprised by it.

Went in last Saturday night for a few drinks and there was a great atmosphere. Theer was a 60th birthday party going on, a few people "ironically" watching the Eurovision song contest and loads of other people just having a drink. I'd imagine the language could get a bit fruity in the vault but the beauty of having two rooms is that it can cater for everyone. Bar staff were friendly and quick.

Went in again on bank holiday Monday with my parents at lunchtime for a bar meal and the food was great and really good value. We'll be making good use of this place I think.

July 2008. The Urmston is under recent new management and has reintroduced a wide range of food served from 12 til 9. The menu includes starters, mains, burgers, baguettes, wraps, desserts and there is a specials board and kids menu. There is a different Sunday menu which includes Sunday lunches. They are also extending the range of John Willie Lees real ales at present having the standard bitter and a "guest" special.

No longer do food, but hot pies available every day. Live football/sports on big screen, quiz night every Thursday with theme nights once a month. Real fire adds to the friendly atmosphere of this friendly community local.
