| How times change. Bar Coast was once the busiest, most exciting and even glamourous venue in Putney. It was the epitomy of the pre-club bar of the late 90's. Its fall from grace was rapid and severe, and its alpha-bar status amongst Putney and Roehampton's younger, trendier drinkers has been taken by the Jolly Gardners. Bar Coast is not missed by anybody. | Yea this place has been a bit of a dive in recent months but its now under new Managment. They have found where the cleaning supplies are and the new staff acknowledge your exsistence and actually talk to you. The food is well cheap (new menu apparently.....) and aint crap either, best drinks offers on Putney High Street (they do some mean shooters too - 4 for �5, two bottles of stella for �2.90). Vandalsim and graffiti is still a problem in the toilets but its the same everywhere in Putney, why is that? Recently I've had some cracking nights in there, I know I can go down and get smashed on the cheap and it aint going to be filled with riff raff.
