| Reasonable place, proper boozer, no frills. Beer selection not too interesting for real ale types, but the locals seem happy enough with it. (I've rather taken against Doom Bar , seems to be even more bland than I remember it) Last pint of bitter I had in here was at 'lager temperature', which cures itself eventually (in summer anyway) but is a bit offputting ... | The food gets rave reviews and rightly so. Great spread of well kept ales for a relatively small venue. This is a real community pub, where you can stoke the fire and shoot the breeze with the locals. The music selection is unbelievable - Just request it - I bet they've got it !
