No longer the Grand Central - has changed to be a Brazilian place of some description.

Really great,
never had a problem here. Always clean & well managed.

Grand Central has been around a few years and was always one of the more stylish and vibey bars in the area. It's had a mini facelift, with importantly a new soundsystem being fitted. GC also has a later license, thus during the week it open till midnight, on Thursday til 1am and Friday & Sturday til 2am.

It feels more comfortable, there are new staff who are friendly and attentive and the food/drink menus have been overhauled. The toilets are still downstairs to the left of the bar and could do with better signage judging by a few wandering clientle.

There are new promoters also.

On Wednesday 3hedz DJs take over. Apart from having played out at many of Londons top spaces like Cargo and Plastic People, they have internet shows from countries like Canada and Japan. 3hedz present art projects that push the unusual and cut across
mediums. 3hedz are independent, far from the mainstream and countercultural yet still manage a vibe that just about anyone can relate to and feel part of.
3hedz : 8pm - 1am free entry.

good to have Grand Central back on the scene!

Nice interior, service pretty woeful, staff more interested in looking disinterested and moody to bother to help. Fashionistas abound - see how many fins and legwarmers you can spot on a typical visit.
