The place has shut down. Little wonder what with the overpriced beer and lack of atmosphere.

Went here with a group of friends recently and we will certainly be going again. It is very rare that you find a bar in London with charecter, atmosphere and bar staff who are trained and friendly with it. Beer was good and not to pricy. A place for a good night out!

Definitely been rebranded since the last comments. I've been in their once since and sensed a definite attempt to take it a bit upmarket - table service for food and that kind of thing. Which is a pity as, as the posters below have said, it previously had a lot of character. I was also charged about 3 for a pint of coke which I thought was far too pricey.

What a GREAT BAR. Was of great relief to find that there are still a few bars left in the city, that offer not only a good personal touch, but also have individuality aswell. Am i the only one bored with all the "super branded pub chains" that have no personality and half the time no emphasis on a personal touch either? I visted Chambers for a spot of lunch, and must compliment the staff and management for the excellent service that i and my colleagues recieved. After talking to the staff, I too was informed of refurbishment plan that they have laid out. They informed me they will be closing in the first week of October, for 3 weeks. And i will certainly be returning to see what the new place looks like! hopefully i will get an invite the re-launch party? (Hint Hint!)
