Last year it became a branch of Grand Union and I went there and found the staff to be jolly and enthusiastic, an improvement on the Kings Arms. Alas on subsequent visits those staff have gone and the place seems to lack something, a shame all the same though.

Thank God it closed down....great place but the staff was useless!
Hoping for something better!

It's not a bad pub I guess, although there is nothing particularly special about it. I go there reasonably often and find the service very, very slow - even when it's not busy. They never appear to be in any rush.

What a beer garden must be the biggest in london. Was there withmy work colleges 4 weeks ago friday and it was packed out in the garden. Nice pub will come back here again.

Went there on Saturday to watch the All Blacks play Ireland and ended up staying to watch the Springboks play Wales. They had a big function on in the backroom that all migrated out to the garden after the game finished to eat and apparently the Birthday boy had asked to put on a spit roasted pig for him and his friends. What a great idea. Its worth dropping in for a couple of pints and a feed. - I love it!
Friendly bar staff, big screen TVs for sport. Food is great good selection and what a beautiful garden such a great sun trap hidden in wandsworth. You could get lost for hours. Love the draught peroni
