Admittedly a smart dining pub at the very least but no need to worry about that when you can sit outside enjoying glorious views of the Malvern Hills. The Ledbury Gold was in very good condition for £3.30 a pint with Butty Bach as the alternative untried ale.

Now called "The Inn at Welland" and essentially a restaurant. Not a Gastropub (I hate that word) but an establishment for dining at a laid table. You will not be made to feel comfortable if you try and stand at the bar and enjoy a conversation and a couple of pints. However should you go with the intention of going straight to the table and dining then the experience is generally regarded as being between very good and excellent. The food is Modern British and very good with smallish portions (suits us oldies) and about 15% more expensive than you expect.Service was poor initially but has got consistently better over the last year and the interior is crisp and modern. Definetly not a Pub and therefore not really relevant to BITE but good place to dine.

Done up v.nice, beer was tasty too. Must go back and try it again - need a bit more time, next time.
Need a bit more cash too. But v.clean and v.attentive staff.
Be over in March

Visited on a Sunday lunch time - really poor food (all meat and veg served on one main plate to divide up between table - had to ask for more veg), forgetful staff, very disappointing. Not one to visit again.

Very disappointed with the attitude of the landlord. The staff were too young and nervous. Don't think there is enough competition in the area. Gastropub prices with chip shop service.
