Great Pub, Great staff and Great beer.

Nice and friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere, Good prices and excellent location in Chelmsford.
Will be heading back their the next time I'm back watching cricket.
(The landlord is a cricket lover).

Popped in with a couple of regulars for the first time a few weeks back, this pub has everything I want and need in a pub , fruit machine , pool table , arcade game and pinball .

The staff were very friendly and so were the rest of the locals I met

Only drunk lager and didn't really look to see what other drinks were on offer , wasn't too bad on the wallet , really enjoyed myself

A charming pub, full of cheery individuals that i can only describe as real characters.
The landlord is a gent and the barmaids are all very friendly the beer is good too.
The is an unusual ornament that stands in the corner next to the pool table which is a real talking point, some suggest it could be a giant spade.
Sometimes there is a sing song on a quiet evening, i have often heard a group gathered round the juke box singing hay jude.
All in all a nice little pub, needs a proper beer garden at the back though (there is land for one).

A real regulars pub, if you know what I mean, from Monday to Thursday but a bit more cosmopolitan on Fraiday and Saturday nights afetr 7:00ish. No food and limited beer range (Greene King IPA and Bass) but friendly enough once you@re known there. Excellent juke box with some real classics and a DJ on Thursday and Saturday nights. Maybe not to everyone's taste but I like it.
