Superb pub, lovely atmosphere and great choice of quality ales, many from micro breweries. It was our first time here and we look forward to another visit soon. It was an Lacons pub so look for the Falcon brewery glazing.

I agree with last comment. Great architectural building (see photos). Long narrow pub due to its wedge shape with comfortable seating at one end and pool table at the other with wall seating adjacent to bar too. Had Mauldons - Broomstick Bitter and Westgate(Greene King) - Ghastly Ghoul on my visit. Both well kept.

A wonderful building inside and out, full of charm and interest. A good range of beers served by a very knowledgeable Landlord. Comfortable and fascinating. This really is worth a trip.

I've had many enjoyable holidays in East Norfolk; the local beer (Woodforde's, Humpty Dumpty, Yarmouth etc) is a major attraction, and the New Ent. has been high on my 'must visit' list since I discovered it in the 90's. A good traditional boozer with a great choice of real ales, comfy & welcoming. I'm not one for staying in the same pub for hours, especially if it's fine cycling weather, but this place almost makes me wish for torrential rain to keep me inside!
