Bright and clean. Reasonable number of staff, which can't be said of many Wetherspoon establishments. Very popular when I visited on a Saturday. Pretty standard selection of ale. I had Hobgoblin Gold which was fine. The only downside was a few loud, drunken locals.

Bright, clean, beer was okay but the choice a bit limited for a JDW. Surprisingly full for early on Sunday lunchtime, mostly with people drinking coffee/eating breakfasts - not my idea of what a pub's for, but if it keeps them open then we have to put up with it.

A place to go if you are young and wanting to get 'smashed' I belive the term would be. You can get food here but on looks alone I wouldn't eat here... staff were lacking and so it took a while for me to get a very suspect pint of Ale!!!! I only drank half and made my way to somewhere with less drunkun teenagers and more ale that you could consume without a real worry...

Having just come back from Ross on Wye, I must admit the Mail Rooms wasn't that bad. Only real problem was the staff took ages to clear tables from all the food they sell. Ales good, only had one suspect pint in the 3 weeks I was there. Service reasonable not much waiting time.
