Beautiful backstreet boozer with lovely grub. I think it was taken over and refurbed in 2022. Well kept cask ales and craft beers, and a great pint of Guinness. Highly recommended.

We visit the Windsor every Sunday with my father in law. He enjoys his roast lamb dinner. We are made to feel welcome by everyone in the pub. Pat the manager reserves our seats for us. We are a fairly big group can be from 6 sometimes you 12 of us. The good is amazing both the Sunday roast and the Thai food. Sometimes it gets a bit rowdy but it's always friendly. The secret of this pub is to talk to the regulars just say hello and they excerpt you straight away. If you find that the language is a bit colourful just either speak to pat or confront them they always apologise if they have offended. A great friendly place to go. We love it. We even bring the grandchildren along for meals. I would not take my family where I thought they would be in danger.

Maybe I there was a different crowd of people in compared to what other reviewers had to deal with but I had a drink in here Friday evening before going to a nearby restaurant, and thought what a nice little local pub it was.

I had a good chat to the landlord and a good pint of bitter; McMullens is a brewery I haven't come across before so even from that fact alone it was worth going to.

It's not on my doorstep, but I'll be going again that's for sure. If I come across the antisocial types discussed I may change my mind but there aren't many pubs that don't have there share of undesireabls at some time or other.
